Back in June of last year, I wrote two posts about why Ron Paul wouldn’t win the nomination. I was met with a flood of reponses ranging from the quasi-rational to the wildly insane. Here’s some of the responses I got:
“Ron Paul is VERY popular, even though polls don’t reflect that yet. A friend of my father (mormon) went on a trip to Europe, and he got so tired of people asking him questions about Ron Paul, he pretended not to know who he was! Also, look at the fact that Ron Paul has 10,000 more supporters on myspace than your boy Mitt.”
“Will you please wake up? the drivel about islamic jihadists just shows that you have fallen for the government’s ‘boogeyman plan’ to scare you into submission . a vote for any candidate OTHER than ron paul – i.e. democrat, republican, left, right, conservative, liberal, ultimately equals more of the same. “
“No chance for Ron Paul?
Don’t believe it for a minute!!
A local Iowa talk host, Jan Michaelson of WHO news talk radio has been handling the latest supporter focus in Des Moines Iowa. In one afternoon/evening….they documented over 17,000 server requests to download the broadcast coverage concerning Ron Paul.”
“i think ron paul’s foreign policy changes would help out a lot with so called ‘terrorism’ and maybe ron paul’s administration would even bring the bush family business partner and vacation buddy -osama bin laden- to justice…lord knows george w. never wiill!”
“He is also the MOST popular candidate in NH and on the internet on any social networking that exists…and won most all the polls after the debates. He had more people at his rally in NH than Barack Obama!”
“Whether 9/11 happenned or not is irrelavent.”
“Wait a minute here. According to polls he connects more with the American people than all the other pro-war Republican candidates. 70% of Americans want us out of Iraq, and he would do just that. So his anti-war stance actually makes him the only electable Republican candidate. RP voted to use force in Afghanistan to hunt down Osama, and punish the people responsible for 911, I don’t think that’s being weak on terror.”
“GO RON PAUL! GO RON PAUL! GOD BLESS RON PAUL! RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT 2008!”
“Anyone who has to invoke Hitler to make a foreign policy point can’t be taken seriously, however, it’s always interesting to note that the anti-Paul forces are remarkable Pro-Stalin regime, or at least, Stalin Denialists and don’t care that our WW2 Ally was the worse mass murderer of all time.”
“Muslims are not out to get your mom, no matter how many times it is suggested to be so by George Bush or Dick Cheney.”
“If you stop and think about it, Ron Paul has voted “no” on a lot of legislation. “
“Trying to “do something” about “humanitarian crises” is totally counterproductive. The Third World’s root problem is irresponsible (badword)ing, i.e uncontrolled baby making without regard for whether the additional billions can be fed, let alone educated, etc. Our contribution to their overpopulation is what leads to the kind of conflicts that inevitably arise when there isn’t enough food to go around.”
“Can you please show me where women did not have the right to vote before the 19th Amendment was put in there? From what I can see, the 19th was a waste of time.”
“Why isn’t anyone talking about the Real ID Act and the fact that we all will have a Verichip implanted in our bodies if Ron Paul doesn’t win? Why isn’t anyone talking about that? Is that something that is not important to you or do you just believe that it doesn’t exist? Which candidate is talking about stopping the North American Union, you know where there will be NO borders for this country and people in Mexico and Canada will be able to travel into the United States by that big new super highway that the Government will build using Eminent Domain?”
“Ron Paul voted against the prohibition of cloning. Its not the federal governments place to decide. Where does the constitution give them the authority?” (To which I ask, where does the Constitution give him the authority to clone people?)
“He voted against the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act. Another vote against big government prying into personal family business.”
“He voted against the Reduction of Spam Bill. So he voted against the federal regulation of the internet. Thats a good thing. He voted against the Do-Not-Call-Registry Bill. He voted against the federal regulation of telephones. Thats a good thing!”
“I think it’s great the way Paul’s relatively pristine voting record attracts so much scrutiny. All I would ask is that we provided the same level of scrutiny to all candidates.”
And my personal favorite: “Ron Paul is going to win this nomination, wait and see.”
To all of this I say:
Ah yes, I tried telling you. I told you he wasn’t strong enough on the War on Terror. I tried telling you that the polls had him down too far. Some of you responded that those polls were simply liberal mainstream media nonsense and that Ron Paul supporters aren’t among “likely voters.” And I think you were right because, relatively, there weren’t that many Ron Paul supporters among actual voters either. Yet, I found it ironic that many of you pointed to the same liberal/mainstream media for polls that showed Americans wanted us out of Iraq, thus a reason why Paul would gain support.
I told you that some of his views were outside of the Republican and even American mainstream. I told you he was unelectable. But either you didn’t believe me or you did and didn’t want to admit it.
Here’s the deal: I do not believe Ron Paul would be a bad President. In fact, I frankly think he’d be better than the current frontrunner John McCain. But it just wasn’t in the cards. Your movement was generally valid, but it needs a new leader. Who will it be?
Right now, Ron Paul will lose the GOP nomination. He has said he won’t run as an independent, which would have only helped the Democratic nominee win in 2008 anyway. He’ll never have a chance to run for President again. Plus, there’s a chance that Chris Peden could even beat him for his congressional seat.
The conservative movement in America is fractured among Paulocons, Social Conservatives/Evangelicals, Moderates, Fiscal Conservatives, and Defense Conservatives. Ronald Reagan was the last leader we had that could truly unite all conservatives. We need another nominee like that. But Ron Paul isn’t it. John McCain isn’t it. Mike Huckabee isn’t it. And unless something extraordinary happens, Mitt Romney won’t have the chance to be it.
I can sympathize with you. It’s a sad state for our party. We need a resurgence of conservative ideals in the worst way.
But for all those Ron Paul supporters who treated me with sardonic disrespect, I leave you with a video from the extremely talented Keith Urban:
Update:
For those honest, non-hostile Paulocons out there, I feel your pain. My guy doesn’t have a chance either. We each did our best and still failed. But instead of bickering back and forth, it’s time to go on and regroup.
February 7, 2008 at 11:06 pm |
The fact that he is not winning the nomination does not prove that he could not.
February 7, 2008 at 11:20 pm |
Wow, that’s an interesting observation. Yet I must ask, in which century, or parallel universe COULD Ron Paul win the nomination?
February 7, 2008 at 11:23 pm |
It’s never over!
Mitt Romney. Presidential candidate, or time-traveling android?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz2xwTNTUNU&feature=user
The Romneybot looks like what our future robot overlords imagine we humans want in a president after researching hours of “The West Wing.”

In a universe where the people in this country value freedom, really want change, understand a tiny bit of economics and are not complacent lemmings.
February 7, 2008 at 11:47 pm |
Sam, you’re one of those crazy RP supporters that proves my point. Thanks for posting!
February 7, 2008 at 11:50 pm |
I’ve got news for you: there are freedom valuing Americans that want change and understand economics and aren’t complacent lemmings….and still won’t vote for Ron Paul.
February 8, 2008 at 12:06 am |
Braden,
good, like me they have the right to vote for whoever they want. Wait, except for the people in NY who were told that he had dropped out of the race and that was why his name wasn’t on the ballot. Or the people in California that were told they weren’t registered Republican and could only vote provisional ballot. Oh and maybe those people who heard some news media the night before Super Tuesday reporting that Ron Paul had in fact dropped out of the race.
And so that you don’t have to say it, I am not making excuses for why he isn’t doing well. I never expected him to win the Nomination, mostly because I know how things work. This, for me, was always about standing up and saying that I was tired of the Country, the way it was being run and that we needed to go in a whole new direction. I will not follow popular opinion (it always got you in trouble in school) don’t see why people still do, but anyway. I don’t care what I am called or what you or anyone else has to say and me and the Candidate I support. If you don’t want to hear about Paul, then do go looking for stuff. They don’t talk about him on the TV so it doesn’t take much. Plus, if you were never worried then why do you even concern yourself with his status? Are you a hater? Are you rubbing it in the faces of the Paul supporters just to get a kick or a laugh? Get over it and move on. You don’t have to be bothered by any of this unless you choose to be.
February 8, 2008 at 12:15 am |
There were eleven. Now There are three. Also, the revolution is NOT about Ron Paul. it’s about the message. The message will not die even if RP loses the election. The revolution has only just begun. Personally, I vote purely on principal. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who would end the various wars on everything, bring ALL of the troops home, abolish the IRS and replace it with nothing, bring peace to the world, restore the dollar and the US economy and usher in a brand new era of prosperity. NO other candidate even talks about how to fix what ails the U.S. What exactly is NOT to like? But, Americans have spoken. They want McWar as their fearless leader and lots more of the same. So be it. May Americans get EXACTLY what they wish more.
February 8, 2008 at 12:17 am |
RON PAUL 2008!
SUPPORTED BY MORE MILITARY ACTIVE & VETERANS THAN ALL OTHER CANDIDATES COMBINED!!!! It ain’t over!!!!
February 8, 2008 at 12:18 am |
So your point is ‘ I told you so?” Ok, he didn’t catch on as we had hoped. Oh well. It’s shame I didn’t read your posts back in June of last year. I could have saved myself time, money, and effort, all on RPs behalf. And still be right here with the same unappealing choices we face. Huck, McCain, Romney.
I am OK with having worked toward something better and failing, rather than just accept the same old BS that each of the other three are offering.
February 8, 2008 at 12:43 am |
Thanks for the video of keith urban. As a Ron Paul supporter, I needed to hear something soothing. Don’t judge all Ron Paul supporters so harshly. Alot of us are just like you–we want the best for our country. Unfortunately, this election has brought out the worst in people. For instance, I know men who voted for Obama because they hate Hillary. I know one black lady who voted for Obama because he is black. Two of my girlfriends voted for Hillary because she is a woman. And I know of one person who voted for Mitt Romney and has angered her family (because he is mormon). Wow! I guess we’ll get what we deserve.
February 8, 2008 at 1:07 am |
Desert Rat,
Yes, may they get EXACTLY what they wish for!
February 8, 2008 at 1:09 am |
Romney’s out. Pwned.
February 8, 2008 at 1:16 am |
Also, the post two comments up (Desert Rat) is pretty much the most accurate thing I’ve heard other than Ron Paul’s actual message. Way to go, DR!
I’ve been wanting to say that to Braden for a while but decided he’d just blow it off because he didn’t hear it on FOX (the one that’s “Fraud and Biased”). Braden I’ve read your posts on Ron Paul, but I just wish that you knew everything that you were talking about. I just can’t wait to hear what you’ll say now that your boy is out and mine is still in.
Zing!
February 8, 2008 at 1:17 am |
Make that 3 up. That DR is a quick one.
February 8, 2008 at 1:25 am |
Oooops!
Now what, genius?
February 8, 2008 at 1:30 am |
Desert Rat and Jordan,
I can’t really disagree….. and I said as much in the post if you read it….
February 8, 2008 at 2:18 am |
E Leet, who do you support? Are you going to tell me or are you just going to keep on leaving classless, tacky, rude, and hateful driveby comments on my blog?
You haven’t made any actual arguments based on logic or reason. Your immature and childish comments make you look foolish. So are you going to actually tell me who you DO support or are you just going to continue to make snide comments like a coward?
I can’t say I’d be surprised if you choose not to.
February 8, 2008 at 5:06 am |
I did read it. I know because I left a relevant comment.
February 8, 2008 at 6:05 am |
If you mean what you say about regrouping, Ron is still in it.
Write Romney and ask him to throw his support behind Ron. If he’s truly conservative and hasn’t sold out his religion and integrity to the ‘good ol’ boys’ club, he’ll do it.
Unfortunately, he’d then get the same treatment that Ron got. The support would never get mentioned in the press. And they’d never breathe his name again.
For what it’s worth, if you believe there is a difference between the Republican and Democrat party, please reconsider. They’re both on the same team and only offer finite differences, in order to make us feel like we have a choice. They are ALL in favor of the war. And it’s no coincidence that Gravel, Kucinich, and Paul, all non-CFR members and anti-war have been completely shut out and mocked by the news stations -the ones telling us who to vote for… McCain is getting set up to be destroyed by next Clinton dynasty. She won’t even get out of bed, to beat Huck. Ron is the only guy that’ll call her on everything and expose her for what she is; what they all are.
February 8, 2008 at 7:21 am |
Michael, Ron is not in it. I suppose if you mean by in it, he’s fighting a battle that he lost weeks ago, then yes he’s in it. But it’s mathematically impossible for him to win. So it’s a lost cause. It’s over. McCain has won. Let’s not kid ourselves. Ron isn’t the only guy that could beat Hillary. It’s just plain silly to think so. Ron Paul’s problem is that he accepted racists, 9/11 conspiracy theorists, and various other nutjobs as his base. America was turned off by that.
Gordy, to answer what you and Desert Rat are saying. there’s no way on earth Ron Paul could bring the troops home and shut down the IRS single-handedly. If you believe he could, you have absolutely no clue how the entire U.S. Government works. And there’s no way Ron Paul could single-handedly restore the dollar. That’s impossible. There’s this thing called Congress, I’m not sure if you’ve heard of it.
Now if Ron Paul had half as much power as you claim that Bush and Cheney have, then yes, maybe Ron Paul could do all those things. But Ron Paul doesn’t believe in having that much power so….it can’t happen.
If you had read my post, you’d know that I said your movement was generally valid. I understand that you vote on principle, so do I…
Like both of you, I don’t like McCain. We’re basically agreed on that. I just want both of you to take your Ron Paul blinders off and realize that your movement will achieve nothing until there’s a candidate that can unite all conservatives, which Ron Paul can’t do. Neither can McCain, Huckabee, or Romney at this point.
February 8, 2008 at 7:34 am |
Hmm interesting. Romney just dropped out and we’re picking up all his supporters who will NOT vote for McInsane or Huckster!
And then there were THREE!
C’mon down!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 8, 2008 at 9:42 am |
Anyway you want to spin it Dr. Ron Paul educating Americans about how communist countries and socialist countries we despise are keeping us from becoming a third world country must sting. We are the greatest Nation thats pennyless. We still have the weapons of mass destruction and our arrogance. We Americans are full of pride. Ron Paul is a kook they say. Well go back to blabbering on your cell phone all day and maybe Obama will give you a goody and day off as you stroll along to poverty. 9 trillion in debt and growing. Norway a socialist country just loaned us money this week what next a loan from Cuba? Shameful and embarrassing SPIN IT
February 8, 2008 at 1:23 pm |
You are just an undereducated worker bee.
February 8, 2008 at 1:24 pm |
It never fails to amuse how a guy (Mc Cain) who traded his patriotism against America while his fellow soldiers languished, was involved in the Keating 5 Savings & Loan scandal, is friendly towards Ted Kennedy could possibly get so many delegates in Super Tuesday.
And why is it hardly ever brought up?
America evidently is full of under educated worker bee drones who think they are somehow not having to pay for their ‘FREE” tax rebate check.
Well maybe they won’t, but their children & grandchildren will.
Instead of that tax rebate check….why don’t we get some of the big chunks of money we all spent overpaying at the pump this year?
Oil company record profits a coincidence? I doubt it as our government approves oil company mergers as fast as possible creating a monopoly situation & then prices go up, up, up !!!
The people in power in this country are in control of the mainstream media as well.
You are currently living under the illusion of freedom.
If you think you don’t, you are a inexperienced fool.
In my business in Las Vegas…. i constantly see Saudi’s & Chinese coming here on vacation, mostly in big groups & all wearing $3,000 dollar tailored Armani suits & the women wearing all couture designer fashions.
Spending money like it is going out of style.
You work your a** off & never see your family, can barely pay your bills & then you vote for Hillary, Obama or Mc Cain hoping for ‘Change’. lol
Good luck with that. You are living in a dream world.
Our politicians are bought & paid for.
February 10, 2008 at 1:13 pm |
Viable or not; RON PAUL STILL has my vote!
It’s not about whether he can be elected now; even the most optimistic have to admit that. Ron Paul was shut out by main stream media; that was what hurt him the most. I firmly believe that Dr. Paul’s message of constitutional values made him the best candidate. With equal media time Dr. Paul WOULD have been the GOP candidate!
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Real Change; not more of the same.
A balanced budget, reduction of the national debt, bring our troops home where they can defend our country. Those are the ideas I will vote for!
Ron Paul 2008
February 12, 2008 at 2:36 am |
This post is starting to reek of sour grapes. “My candidate suspended his campaign, boohoo, so I will tear down your candidate!” You no what the worst thing about being Braden (i.e. someone who loves Mitt Romney but hates Ron Paul)? Even now, as abyssmal as Dr. Paul’s chances are at winning the nomination he still has a better chance of becoming the Republican nominee than Romney. Afterall, Mitt stepped aside so even if/when Hell freezes over, Ron Paul would be there to win, however slim his chances are. Romney’s chances are precisely zero.
But let’s face it. As it stands, McCain is positioned to be the next nominee. Are you happy that you wasted your vote on Mitt the Quitter instead of casting one for Ron Paul or even Mike Huckabee, anybody but McStain? Granting the near certainty that John McCain and not Ron Paul will win the GOP nomination, prepare for 4-8 years of a Clinton or Obama. John McCain could NEVER beat the Democrats. I noticed in your reply to Michael you said, “Ron isn’t the only guy who can beat Hillary. It’s just plain silly to think so.” What is wrong? Is your head lodged somewhere up your rectum? I would happily lend you a crowbar to pry it out. I said it before and I will say it now. Ron Paul is the only Republican presidential candidate who could win this election. If nominated he would easily beat Hillary, the problem is that he is nowhere close to the nomination. Especially when you consider the alternatives, Mike Huckabee (who would find no support outside of Evangelicals and hillbillies) and John McCain, hated by anyone with a brain.
Then again, you noted that Sam’s comment with included youtube link (obviously a reference to the Terminator and almost certainly satirical) proves your point about “those crazy RP supporters.” Uuh… Braden, it never occured to you that it was sarcasm? You are such a tool! This should be indicative of the (lack of) intelligence of the anybody-but-Paul crowd.
Too bad Ron Paul probably will not get nominated. Oh well, I hope the Democratic nominee will repair at least some of the damage caused to this country and this planet by eight years of Bush-Cheney. Enjoy sitting this election day out! Unless of course you are one of the useful idiots who vote for McCain. The problem with John McMallow (reference to the marshmallows concealed in his cheek pouches) is that the projected nominee is unelectable. This was the guy who could not beat George W. Bush in 2000! Note that George Bush is no Ronald Reagan (nor was his father), and barely beat Al Gore that year. Gore won the popular vote but Bush was handed the electoral vote when the Supreme Court decided the outcome of Florida in his favor. If GWB could not win the election of 2000 by a comfortable margin, what makes you think the guy who lost to him in the primaries and caucuses could win? Now add eight years of aging to Sen. McCain. Eight years older, eight years sicker, eight years weaker, eight years nuttier! How is the guy who could not beat a barely-electable candidate 8 years ago able to win? Bush & Cheney could always rely on their swarms of redneck morons (i.e. you) to flock to the polls. McCain is not blessed by the same redneck idiot following.
February 13, 2008 at 3:06 am |
dude your mitt boy is in debt. i don’t believe a word that fox news say or cnn. Ron Paul has raised more money than any other guy running. that says all. you may not know that Ron Paul is the only canadide that is not in debt. you do not know the future. do you think you know?!!?!? everything that is going to happen?
February 13, 2008 at 10:46 am |
So much craziness…where to begin?
NH, you go right ahead.
John…whatever.
Jeff, how presumptuous. Undereducated? Well I don’t have a doctorate, but I do have a Bachelor’s, So undereducated? Hmm…. Of course I’m sure you may not be talking about what normal humans refer to as education, rather you refer to the educating of one’s self in all that is the perfect and infallible Paulocon world view. I think it’s hilarious that you consider all politicians bought and paid for since Ron Paul is by definition….a politician. If this world is as bleak as you portray, I would find it futile to vote for Ron Paul in the first place if I were you. Why are you still working in Vegas? Why haven’t you moved to another country if ours is so messed up?
Julie, whatever.
Romulan, if Ron Paul can’t even win the nomination of his party, how in the world do you think he can beat any of the Democrats? Ron Paul has consistently shown that he isn’t connecting with the majority of Americans. How do I know that? Because he has lost every single primary and caucus! As for sour grapes, you are certainly one to talk. You’re whining about Ron Paul losing while saying “ooh, Mitt dropped out!” Well face facts: Romney about 20 times as many delegates as Ron Paul even after he dropped out!! It’s mathematically impossible for Ron Paul to win.
Randy, Romney is not in debt. I don’t know where you get that from. He raised more money than any other candidate. Ron Paul may not be in debt, but what’s he going to do with all his campaign money after he loses the election? Is he going to keep it? Is it going to give it back like he should? Who will be in debt then?
Do I blame Ron Paul for losing this election? No, I blame rude and obnoxious people like some of you for carrying his message with presumptuous, condescending, crude, and blissfully ignorant postings like this. Ron Paul has good things to say. He’s got some ideas that are good for this country. But you, his supporters, lost this election for him and you should be ashamed of yourselves for it.
February 14, 2008 at 12:40 am |
you don’t have to lie about your candidate to cover up. its ok buddy. BUT i know that your mitt boy is in debt! and dude was it not all over the news on how ron paul raised more than any other candidate? you seem not to know what is really going on.
February 14, 2008 at 11:12 am |
Okay you got me, Randy. Mitt Romney is in debt….to himself!!!
Mitt Romney raised approximately $88.5 million in the course of his campaign, $35.4 million of which was donated by himself. This means that outside of his own donations, his campaign raised $53.1 million from mostly individual contributions.
Your assertion that Ron Paul raised more than any other candidate is utterly false. Among GOP candidates, he was 4th behind Giuliani, McCain, and Romney in overall fundraising totals. He was 7th among Republican and Democratic candidates.
I think it’s hilarious and ironic that you refer to Ron Paul leading the fundraising totals as being “all over the news.” Is that the same slanted, biased, and liberal news media you Paulocons are always talking about? I thought you didn’t trust them.
Here’s the facts:
http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.asp?cycle=2008
February 18, 2008 at 7:47 pm |
You are a perfect example of why I grew to bitterly hate my ex-wife and finally after getting our two kids raised, divorced her! She was of your type. She loved telling people, “I told you”, or “See, if you would have just listened to ME” or “Next time, maybe you will listen to what I tell you” or “See, I KNEW this would happen”, etc. etc. blah blah blah….
I’m not even going to waste my time finishing what I was going to say to you. You won’t get it. You see youself as the all important know it all. The more intelligent people that may read this comment, will know what I mean. You should examine your hidden low self-esteem and insecurity, it’s blatant and pathetic. I’d bet that’s why you have so much time on your hands to right this idiotic blog, you have few friends and most people don’t enjoy spending time with you. Keep writing, loser.
Let it not be said that we did nothing. -Ron Paul
February 18, 2008 at 8:45 pm |
Michael, thanks for sharing…I guess…. Low self-esteem, insecurity? Sounds like you’ve got some of your own. Thanks for the psychoanalysis anyways though.
“idiotic,” “loser”
Ah, when you don’t debate the issues and start insulting me, that’s when I find it hard to be troubled by what you have to say. I think its hilarious that you know all about me from reading my blog. What’s even funnier is that your analysis couldn’t be further from reality. Are you just mad that you were wrong all those times? I mean, I know I’m not right on everything. I’ll readily admit that, and my blogs prove it. But I don’t have to compensate for it by insulting you.
February 23, 2008 at 9:55 am |
Buddy your mitt boy did not have the means to stay in the race. mitt raised like zero dude your way out of touch on what is really going on. ron paul has all the money to stay in mitt did not and like i said he is in debt. you cant change what has happen. and it is true that ron paul raised the most money out of all the other republican candidates. You talk about ron paul not being able to stay in well look who dropped out!!!!!!! the loser mitt romney. when you tell the truth people like you bettter. you’d be better off telling the truth.
February 23, 2008 at 12:02 pm |
Oh Randy. Means to stay in the race? Let’s see. He had more money and more delegates than Ron Paul….and still does. In fact, if Mitt wanted to jump back in the race right now, he’d still be ridiculously ahead of Ron Paul. You haven’t given me any real facts, evidence, or sources to back up your wildy delusional claims so I’m not exactly inclined to believe anything you’ve said.
I, on the other hand, gave you an independent source verifying the facts I stated to you. This discourse is rather fruitless when I’ve got the facts to support what I say and you’re simply repeating the same old Paultard psychobabble with nothing to back it up.
February 25, 2008 at 6:24 am |
man you do not understand politics how it works!!!!!! if they dont want a person to win like ron paul they can make it out like he is not winning. and you like a everybody else out there is STUPID believe it!!! you try so hard to justify your self just relax. YOU are the stupids guy i have ever met!
MAN!!! you talk about peaple being nice!!!!!!!!!!! i was very nice to you!!!!! what did i get??? a spit in the FACE!!!!!!!!!!!! i was nice to you if you are going to be a jerkoff to me im not going to play nice with you anymore!!!!!!!!!
February 25, 2008 at 6:30 am |
Dear Mr. Braden,
I did agreed with you at first with Romney. But then i saw how forceful and mean you were to people who did not agree with you. i read all the comments and realized that everybody who was for Ron Paul were nice and friendly but you like a mean dog that you are try to bite them. Romney lost my vote because of you. i know Romney is not running anymore, but you i have never met a MEANER man than you.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 25, 2008 at 7:17 am |
Randy, where do you get this from? “They” make it sound like he’s not winning? Okay, so you’re saying that there’s some kind of mainstream media conspiracy that’s hiding the fact that Ron Paul is ACTUALLY winning right now and not being thoroughly incinerated in this race? Give me some facts to prove it. I’m trying to have a logical discourse with you on this, but it’s impossible when you keep repeating nonsense with no real facts behind it. I almost wonder if you’re just kidding around. At least that would make more sense.
Abby, if you’ll read a little further, you’ll notice that I’m the one that’s being called “idiotic,” “loser” “stupids,” (which I think was Randy’s poor attempt at the word “stupidest,” which may or may not be a word in and of itself), “jerkoff,” “insecure,” and “a inexperienced fool.” Is that nice and friendly? If responding with rational logic based on facts is acting like a “mean dog,” then I’m sorry but I believe you might be missing some of the things being said to me or you’re reading it all backwards. Considering the scathing, ultra-harsh vitriole that has been lobbed at me from Ron Paul supporters, I don’t feel the slightest bit of remorse for what I’ve said in return.
February 26, 2008 at 7:40 am |
Dear Mr. Braden, you were a mean horrid monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you get upset for no reason at all. And you should feel the utter MOST remorse for that!
March 4, 2008 at 11:21 am |
goodness your a moron you don’t know what to say!!!

you keep trying to justify yourself.

Abby, you call me a mean horrid monster and a moron. Your (not to be confused with you’re as in “you are”) name-calling directed at me proves that your own hypocrisy knows no bounds. I had not planned to respond to your silly and unfounded comment, but your (are you taking notes?) repeated attempts to insult me made me feel the need to do so.
Randy, no facts, no argument, no evidence. I pity you. I am justified in the truth I have shown to you time and time again. You are the one who feels you must justify yourself in believing nonsense.

man i don’t have to give evidence. there is no need to. we know that Ron Paul is the only candidate who follows the constitution, Mitt Romney has no respect, he mocked Ron Paul, and with him giving no respect he gets no respect.

You don’t have to give evidence. Hallelujah! We have an admission of ignorance. You are above giving evidence. You are above being able to prove what you believe. No sir, you don’t have to. You can live with your blind following of Ron Paul without any need for facts. Thank you so much. I’m glad you don’t need evidence.
